Carletta Yvette  Franklin
Carletta Franklin was called to be home with the Lord on Wednesday, July 20th 2016 with
her family by her side at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center at age 47. She was born on
December 29, 1968 to Sharon E. Franklin in Columbus, Ohio.

Carletta had a spirit that was loving, caring and giving. She loved spending time with her
family, coloring and solving word puzzles, Black Friday shopping, couponing, decorating the
house for holidays, playing the "detective" while watching her favorite TV shows: The First
48 and Criminal Minds and she enjoyed being the all time champion of the game Yahtzee
she never went easy on her girls. Carletta was an amazing mother, grandmother,
granddaughter, niece and friend.

She is preceded in death by her mother Sharon Franklin, grandfather Grover Rudolph
Franklin, great- grandmothers Blanche Reese and Itura Maybrey and Grace E. Steward.
Her legacy will be lived on through her three daughters Brittenie Franklin, VaNeesha
Barlow and Briana Franklin. Her grandson KeyonTae Cordes (Worm) and granddaughter
Lilliana Franklin (Hickory). She will be sadly missed by her grandmother Mary Franklin,
aunts, uncles, and a host of nieces and nephews, friends and church family.
