Obituary for JOSEF JABRAIL "BIG DAWG" DUNCAN

Josef Jabrail Duncan age 20, affectionately known as "Big Dawg", passed away after a long illness at The O.S.U. Ross Heart Hospital on May 3rd, 2018. He was diagnosed with heart failure at Mt. Carmel East Hospital.

Josef was born November 3, 1997 at The O.S.U. Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. He attended Independence High School and graduated with honors from Focus Academy East. He loved to play basketball, football and other sports. He also loved playing the drums and was in the band at Independence High School. Josef had a wonderful sense of humor and could keep you laughing.

Josef is preceded in death by his mother, Meshelle Davis; his Grandparents Joseph Davis; Jack and Alice Crump, Deforest Wallace and Joe Norwood; Uncles "Big Mike" Davis, Steven Crump and Kenneth Duncan.

He is survived by his Father Hamp Duncan, Mom/Grand Mother; Norma Mason; Sisters Charrea Duncan, Katrina Duncan and Mary Crump; Brothers Mariano Wallace, Luke Eldrige, Michael, Beezy and Ross Bange, Shawn Duncan and Angelo "Bumper" Byers; Fiance Adronna Wiley: Aunts Pat Crump, Margo Bang, Cherry Crump, Sonja (Buddy) Munnerlyas, Harriett Carter, Dawn Wallace and Mary (Harold) Graham; Uncles Aviro (Linda) Crump, Percell Williams, and Bobby Davis; Special Nephews and Niece, Isaiah and Naomi Duncan and Brandon Duncan; Special Friends Tina, Cozy, James, Germaine and Michael A. Tyler; Other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Relatives and Friends, "Goodbye My Precious Wonder".

Funeral Services Saturday May 12, 2018 at Caliman Funeral Services, 3700 Refugee Road, Columbus, Ohio 43232. Viewing is at 10:00 am, Services at 11:00 am. Pastor Gerald Murphy Officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
