JOHN PERRY  WILLIAMS
WILLIAMS, John Perry Sunrise: August 15, 1933 Sunset: February 17, 2018 Was born in Gilliam, West Virginia to John Jack Williams and Arlene Fair. A Korean War Veteran of the United States Army, he retired from US Steel after 30 years and 10 years from Ohio Food Bank in Youngstown, OH. He was preceded in death by his step father and his mother, Rev Charles and Arlene Fair; his father, Jack Williams; sisters, Rowena Moman and Marlene Ellerbe; Grandparents, Rev Eugene and Evangelist Edith Gentry; and a devoted friend of 50 years, Linnel Bush. Surviving is his beloved wife of 43 years, Isabelle Williams, 8 step children: Darren (Annette)Purdue, David (Ursula) Purdue, Tammy Purdue, John Purdue, Marcia Thomas, Pauline Stoneworth, Shelly Hightower, and Debbie Smith, 1 brother: Earl (Mae) Williams, a devoted Brother- In- law, Michael Hill of Columbus, a niece; Marva Moman of Dayton, six nephews; Tony Williams, Dewayne (Nina) Moman, Robert Williams, Carl Moman, John Williams, Marvin (Angela) Lewis, and a host of other cousins, relatives, and friends. Funeral service Friday, February 23, 2018, 11am at United Missionary Baptist Church, 900 Lexington Ave, Pastor Leroy Cothran, officiating, where the family will receive friends 10 am until the time of service.
