The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Emma Ridley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The Bible

I met Ms. Emma and her beautiful family at Continuing Health Care in Gahanna.  My Mother resides there so I had the pleasure of seeing Ms. Emma almost on a daily basis.  She always had a big smile for me.  She was so proud of her family and the love and support for her was never ending.  One day she wanted a bible and I had an extra one that belonged to my Mom.  I gave it to her and she smiled and said "that's mine?" and I said yes, that's yours.  She said write my name inside.  I wrote her name "Emma Ridley" and dated it.  Of course, she told me how to spell her name just to make sure I had it right.  I'll never forget how happy she was to have that bible.  I know, without a doubt, Ms. Emma is walking wit her Lord and Savior.  Ms. Emma, I know you can hear now so I want to say thank you for blessing me with the short time we spent together.  To Aretha, Ralph, Imma Jean and to those whose names I can't remember, it was so wonderful to meet you all and to share a small portion of ypur Mother's life.  God Bless you all and may he keep you in his tender loving care.
