Dennis G. Tabler, 63 of Zanesville, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017 at Genesis Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 4, 1954, in Athens, Ohio, a son of the late Harley and Garnett Singer Tabler. He worked as a Highway Maintenance Technician at the Ohio Department of Transportation and retired after 30 years of service. After retiring he continued to work on a seasonal basis for ODOT and Zemba-Adams Bros. Concrete LLC. Surviving are his wife, Joyce Tabler; daughters Aundria Tabler and Krishawna Tabler (Craig Smith); son Dennis A. Tabler (Heather Bailey) ; Step-Daughter Stacey (Steve) Johnson; Step-Son Brad Fowler; Grandchildren; Jordan, Carlon, Brooklyn, Brynn, Makiah, Dylan, Craig II, Anthony, Zailen, Nevaeh; Step-Grandchildren; Miguel, Tianna, Tyler; Step Great-Grandchildren; Miguel II and Lily. Two brothers; Dana (Saundra)Tabler of Grove City; Keith Tabler of Zanesville; sister Vera(Darrell) Honesty of Zanesville; sister-in-law Margaret Tabler of Zanesville; many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Harley Tabler; nephew Michael Tabler and step-son; Michael (Freedom) Fowler. Friends and family may call from 12pm-1pm until the time of the funeral service at 1pm on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the GREATER APOSTOLIC CHURCH OF CHRIST, 1651 State Street, Zanesville, Elder Terrance Brown officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contribution be made “In Memory of Dennis Tabler” to Greater Apostolic Church of Christ.
