WILLIAM JAMES  FOSTER
Foster, William J. "Billy" - age 61 passed away Monday, January 4, 2016 at Arbor East Rehabilitation Center. Memorial Service will take place 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Eliezer Church of Christ, 1413 St. Clair Ave., Columbus, OH.

William J. "Billy" Foster was born in Charleston, West Virginia on September 13, 1954; the son of Bishop William Luther Foster and Susie Frances Chandler. He was a resident of Columbus, Ohio.

Billy graduate from high school in 1972 soon thereafter attending a technology trade school. His career swiftly changed when he moved to Flint, Michigan in 1976 where he was employed by General Motors (Buick City) working there until his retirement.

While in Michigan Billy was joined in matrimony to Odelia Dunlap. To this union was born his two daughters Tatilia (Tina) & Amelia (Ce-Ce). He was also a faithful member of the Eliezer Apostolic Church serving as a Deacon, Usher Board, janitor and Sunday School Supt. as well as the bus driver. When not at church or work Billy could be found at the gym where he loved to work-out. He was a firm believer of fitness and health.

Billy leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters Tatilia (Dion) Burroughs of Grand Blanc, MI, and Amelia "Ce-Ce" Foster of Ypsilanti, MI; Sisters Vergie (Carl) Johnson, and Roberta Foster both of Prattville, AL; Wilma Jenkins of Brooklyn, NY; Frances Howard of Columbus, OH; Nina Chandler, Frances Foster Brooks, both of West VA.; Brothers Robert Chandler of West VA. and Robert Foster of Columbus, OH. Aunt France Thurman of Columbus, OH; and two grandchildren Kyndal and Preston Burroughs of Grand Blanc, MI. A host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bishop William L. Foster & Susie Chandler; sister Inez Foster-Payton brother Clifford Foster; and Aunt Eva Foster Watkins.
